Last Saturday John was walking downtown
When he crossed paths with a wedding getaway,
A couple on their decked out motorcycle,
Four women gathering the bride’s skirt up
Tucking her in, and off they went.
With a double police escort
On motorcycles, of course
In september,
We were in a taxi going to town
When this wedding getaway passed us
Going up the hill. You can’t help but smile.

I always find your blog interesting and I always leave your blog with a smile on my face.
This entry is what I love about Mexico, everything is sacred to a point but Mexicans don’t take it all so seriously. The Mexican perspective is so different and fun without diminishing the importance/seriousness of what they are doing ( ie: a wedding).
The picture of the bride and the groom is amazing. I wish I had been there to capture the moment. The energy level of the moment must have gone off the scale!
This is what I miss about Mexico.

Chris you are just going to have to come back. You’ll like the one on the children’s parade that I just did. It will remind you of your teaching days up in Santa Julia
There is nothing that I can say that Chris hasn’t already said. I am smiling. Nice video!
