Codice style book by shaman from Otomi village of San Pablito explaining shamanic ritual. About 26 hand made pages with explanation in spanish, along with hand cut shamanic figures on each page. This is an amate paper codice that was written by Alfonso Garcia Tellez, a shaman from the village of San Pablito on the 10th of August, 1978, describing "La Historia de la Corazon de Antigua de San Pabito Pue." The book has 28 pages that fold out, in typical codice/accordian style and describes shamanic figures used in rituals in the village. It is hand written, and has small shamanic figures that are hand cut, representing the various dieties, on the pages.
